Eker | Corporate | Founders, Eker dairy was founded by Altan Eker in 1977 in Bursa exclusively producing yoghurt and ayran at the time. Eker continues to operate at the production facility that was constructed, expanded and modernized in 1982. Altan EKER was born on 1942 in Bursa. After completing from Bursa High School for Boys, he graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Finance & Economics on 1965. He continues to language courses for 1 year within UK. After returning to Turkey, he worked as contractor for 5 years. He married with Aygen EKER on 1973. He is the father of two. He started to produce yoghurt and ayran in EKER farm, which he bought on 1977. He established the Eker factory, one of the most modern facilities of Turkey at that time, on 1981 and started to operate in diaries sector. He worked as CEO and General Manager for 15 years in Eker Diaries. He passed away on 1996.
Aykut KUTAY was born on 1935 in Bursa. He completed his primary, secondary and high school educations in Bursa. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences on 1959. After his military service as reserve officer, he worked for Türkiye Emlak Kredi Bank as assistant inspector and inspector. He transferred to Akbank on 1970. He worked for a. m. bank as assistant manager and branch manager within various branches. He retired from his duties on 2000 within Eker Diaries Inc., to which he started on 1997.
